We were in the area for holidays and had issues with our brakes. Phoned several other garages in the area and they couldn’t fit us in for another week or so, but Babe’s got us in in a day and a half so we could get back on the road to our next destination. Found the price to be reasonable for the work that needed to be done and they were always very friendly and helpful on the phone.

Oil change and trans fluid and filter change on a Ram 3500. Price was reasonable and finished when promised.
The vehicle check list with pictures and comments was thorough and a pleasant surprise.
Both Carl and Shane were very helpful and answered all questions I had in detail.

Excellent Service is an Understatement! - We had just acquired a E series Ford Adventure Van that required a fair amount of work. The Team at Babe's got us in when no one else would make time ~ repaired , upgraded ( event custom fit a new steering shaft) in the crazy time frame we needed to make out road trip plans happen. Huge Thanks to Shaynne and Cole specifically , you don't get customer service like that these days! Cheers

Amazing. Hard to be confused or feel like they may be ripping you off when they send a meticulous breakdown report of everything with pictures, during each process.
Also surprising fast. Usally when your that fast you lack in quality but not with them. They are now mine go to mechanic.

I’m been very happy with the work and costumer service at babes, they are all super great at communication and do a very detailed inspection letting you know what needs to be done but also getting consent before starting the work and they give very accurate quotes! On top of that they always get it done quick.

I brought my 2000 Tacoma to them for axle replacement and an issue with the air intake. They were so great, went above and beyond to make sure it was back to good running order. Their prices were extremely reasonable and they were absolutely lovely to deal with.

This shop took care of me very respectfully and professionally. Went above the standard. The most comprehensive scan and report i've ever seen, with many options afterwards. Fixed my issue in a day with short notice. Thank you!

I’m finishing up restoring a 2006 Tacoma and Babes knew exactly what I wanted done and had the experience to do it right. And along the way they found a couple things that I wasn’t aware of and it really saved me some problems down the road. These guys really know what they’re doing and their pricing is fair – – great customer service.

Great attention to details. Professional. And does good work. Always available to answer question if you want to pick their brain about your vehicle. They are the only shop I visited here near Nelson!

Babe’s has been taking great care of my family’s vehicles since we moved to the area. They are professional, efficient, and great at communicating what is going on with the vehicles. They are my go to and am happy to trust them with our vehicles!

My Mazda recently started making a loud ticking noise on my way home from work, and as someone with very little car knowledge—and not many people in town to turn to—it was really stressful. I had no idea if the issue was minor, serious, or if it was even safe to keep driving.
Babes was able to get my car in for diagnostics within the next week and had everything checked within a day after dropping it off. They didn’t end up finding anything wrong, and the noise eventually stopped on its own, but I genuinely appreciated how quickly they got me in and kept me updated. Shaynne was especially helpful in explaining what could have been going on, and he didn’t even charge me for the inspection.
I’ll definitely be returning to Babes for any future car troubles!
