Welcome to Babe’s Automotive!

Babe’s Automotive was great to deal with. They worked with me to get my Alberta truck through its BC inspection and had everything taken care of in a single day. I’m happy to have my truck on the road so quickly. Everyone was professional, kind, and easy to deal with, and they were upfront about what needed to be done and the costs before moving forward with anything. I’ve only ever heard great things about this shop, so I’m glad I finally made the move to bring my vehicle here. All around, a great shop with great people. Highly recommend!

I hesitate to leave an honest review here as I really had a good overall user experience at Babes. However, after the out of province inspection I was told I needed rear shocks as they were leaking. The shocks were not available for same day R&R so another appointment was scheduled. The shock part number was incorrectly cross referenced and the wrong part was ordered. This was only discovered once the vehicle was on the hoist. In turn the inspection was magically passed and I didn’t get any shocks replaced, postponing the $500 expense. Yay! In turn, I had an appointment scheduled the following day for warranty work so I asked if the shocks were passable. To my surprise the tech said yes! He specified that there was seepage but no drips. I was shocked (pun intended) to learn I could have avoided having someone else bring the kids to school and take the morning off work if they had passed the vehicle in the first place. With that said, there was seepage so there may have been a drip that dropped during the inspection… it’s a bit of a grey area as I will need shocks at some point. Overall, the experience at babe’s was smooth and they run a tight ship.

I had a great experience at Babe’s Automotive. Shane & the team are lovely and efficient. They did a thorough condition report of my vehicle and then replaced my knock sensor as it was malfunctioning.
I now have a detailed list of what needs repairing and whether the repair is required or suggested. I will be coming back for future service. Thanks team!

We were in the area for holidays and had issues with our brakes. Phoned several other garages in the area and they couldn’t fit us in for another week or so, but Babe’s got us in in a day and a half so we could get back on the road to our next destination. Found the price to be reasonable for the work that needed to be done and they were always very friendly and helpful on the phone.

Oil change and trans fluid and filter change on a Ram 3500. Price was reasonable and finished when promised.
The vehicle check list with pictures and comments was thorough and a pleasant surprise.
Both Carl and Shane were very helpful and answered all questions I had in detail.
Excellent customer service

Excellent Service is an Understatement! - We had just acquired a E series Ford Adventure Van that required a fair amount of work. The Team at Babe's got us in when no one else would make time ~ repaired , upgraded ( event custom fit a new steering shaft) in the crazy time frame we needed to make out road trip plans happen. Huge Thanks to Shaynne and Cole specifically , you don't get customer service like that these days! Cheers

Amazing. Hard to be confused or feel like they may be ripping you off when they send a meticulous breakdown report of everything with pictures, during each process.
Also surprising fast. Usally when your that fast you lack in quality but not with them. They are now mine go to mechanic.

I’m been very happy with the work and costumer service at babes, they are all super great at communication and do a very detailed inspection letting you know what needs to be done but also getting consent before starting the work and they give very accurate quotes! On top of that they always get it done quick.
10/10 would recommend

I brought my 2000 Tacoma to them for axle replacement and an issue with the air intake. They were so great, went above and beyond to make sure it was back to good running order. Their prices were extremely reasonable and they were absolutely lovely to deal with.

This shop took care of me very respectfully and professionally. Went above the standard. The most comprehensive scan and report i've ever seen, with many options afterwards. Fixed my issue in a day with short notice. Thank you!

They staff is super friendly. Babes Auto is very diligent, honest, & supportive. They will take good care of your vehicle. Best place in the kootenays.

I’m finishing up restoring a 2006 Tacoma and Babes knew exactly what I wanted done and had the experience to do it right. And along the way they found a couple things that I wasn’t aware of and it really saved me some problems down the road. These guys really know what they’re doing and their pricing is fair – – great customer service.

Great attention to details. Professional. And does good work. Always available to answer question if you want to pick their brain about your vehicle. They are the only shop I visited here near Nelson!

Babe’s has been taking great care of my family’s vehicles since we moved to the area. They are professional, efficient, and great at communicating what is going on with the vehicles. They are my go to and am happy to trust them with our vehicles!
